One day I was working in the garage on a car and there was this gigantic moving chocolate bear outside. The next day it wasn't so friendly anymore.

Anyway, we were surrounded in the hospital by these nurse looking monsters. Narc died protecting Cayden, and we had to make a run for it.

We were heading for a fire escape to get out, but I ran out of energy first.

I sent him off. Bashed in the head a bunch of times. We were a few hallways away from the fire escape at that time.

[another deep breath and exhale] Turns out that last hallway, he was ripped apart.

[fffffffffffffffff no there were too many feels at that, his grip tightens on Ky's hand]

Neither of us want to repeat that.

[turns to face him, reaching with his free hand to run more gently and carefully through Diarmuid's hair]

[aahh -- closes his eyes, leaning into the touch]
